Diane Parry reached the second round of the Monastir Open by beating lucky loser Harmony Tan 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 at the Monastir Tennis Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Parry, ranked No 65, will face Italian qualifier Lucrezia Stefanini next.
