Monastir Open: world No175 Papamichail into second round, defeating Lin Zhu
Despina Papamichail won against Lin Zhu 1-6, 7-6 (2), 6-0 on Monday and will face the winner of the match between Romanian Jaqueline Cristian and Belgian Elise Mertens, the No 5 seed, in the next round
Greek qualifier Despina Papamichail advanced to the second round of the Monastir Open by beating Chinese Lin Zhu 1-6, 7-6 (2), 6-0 at the Monastir Tennis Club on Monday.
Papamichail, ranked No 175, will play the winner of the match between Romanian Jaqueline Cristian and Belgian Elise Mertens, the No 5 seed, next.
