Midland Open: Eighth seed Volynets upset by Prozorova in first round
The Russian will play the winner of the match between Russian Anna Kalinskaya and Heather Watson in the next round
Russian Tatiana Prozorova moved into the second round of the Midland Open by winning against American Katie Volynets, the No 8 seed, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 at the Greater Midland Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Prozorova, ranked No 201, will play the winner of the match between Russian Anna Kalinskaya and Heather Watson next.
