Chinese Yue Yuan defeated Russian Anna Blinkova 6-4, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Yuan, ranked No 37, will face No 8 seed Maria Sakkari next.
