Miami Open: Trevisan moves into third round
Martina Trevisan defeated Nao Hibino 6-4, 6-3 on Thursday night and will face American Claire Liu in the next round
Italian Martina Trevisan, the No 25 seed, moved into the third round of the Miami Open by winning against Japanese qualifier Nao Hibino 6-4, 6-3 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday night.
Trevisan, ranked No 24, will play American Claire Liu next.
Hibino, ranked No 137, beat Montenegrin Danka Kovinic (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Miami tournament.
