Chinese Xiyu Wang moved into the second round of the Miami Open by winning against Czech wildcard Brenda Fruhvirtova 6-0, 7-5 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Tuesday.
Wang, ranked No 59, will play No 29 seed Petra Martic next.
