Miami Open: Svitolina moves into last 16, could face Swiatek next
Elina Svitolina defeated Karolina Muchova 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 on Sunday and will face the winner of the match between Belgian Elise Mertens, the No 27 seed, and Pole Iga Swiatek, the second seed, in the next round

Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, the No 22 seed, defeated No 15 seed Karolina Muchova 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 to reach the last 16 of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
Svitolina, ranked No 22, will face the winner of the match between Belgian Elise Mertens, the No 27 seed, and Pole Iga Swiatek, the second seed, next.
In the previous round of the Miami tournament, the Ukrainian won against Swiss Belinda Bencic (6-1, 6-2).
Muchova, ranked No 14, benefited from the abandonment of Belarusian Victoria Azarenka (6-0, 0-0) in the second round of the Miami tournament.
