Miami Open: Ostapenko sets clash with Kalinskaya in third round

Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, the No 9 seed, reached the third round of the Miami Open by defeating German qualifier Laura Siegemund 7-6 (3), 6-4 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday evening.
Ostapenko, ranked No 10, will face Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 22 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Miami tournament, Siegemund, ranked No 90, won against Serb qualifier Aleksandra Krunic (4-6, 6-2, 6-2).
