Miami Open: Three-time quarter-finalist Kvitova moves into last 16 with win over Vekic
Petra Kvitova won against Donna Vekic 6-4, 7-6 (3) on Sunday evening and will face Russian qualifier Varvara Gracheva in the next round

Czech Petra Kvitova, the No 15 seed, won against Croat Donna Vekic, the No 22 seed, 6-4, 7-6 (3) to advance to the last 16 of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday evening.
Kvitova improves to 19-12 lifetime at the Miami Open.
Kvitova, ranked No 12, will face Russian qualifier Varvara Gracheva next.
Ahead of her victory, the 33-year-old Czech defeated Linda Noskova (6-3, 6-0).
Vekic, ranked No 20, beat American Madison Brengle (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Miami tournament.
