Miami Open: Impressive Boulter breezes past Haddad Maia to reach last 16
Katie Boulter beat Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-2, 6-3 and will play Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 27 seed, in the next round

No 24 seed Katie Boulter beat Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 11 seed, 6-2, 6-3 to reach the last 16 of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Boulter, ranked No 30, will face Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 27 seed, next.
Katie Boulter benefited from the abandonment of wildcard Brenda Fruhvirtova (7-6 (5), 1-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Miami tournament, Haddad Maia, ranked No 13, edged out Frenchwoman Diane Parry (3-6, 6-1, 6-4).
