Japanese qualifier Nao Hibino defeated Montenegrin Danka Kovinic 6-3, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Hibino, ranked No 138, will face No 25 seed Martina Trevisan next.
