Swiss qualifier Viktorija Golubic won against American wildcard Hailey Baptiste 7-6 (3), 6-1 to move into the second round of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Tuesday.
Golubic, ranked No 98, will face No 12 seed Liudmila Samsonova next.
