Miami Open: Fernandez sweeps past qualifier Arango to move into third round
Leylah Fernandez beat Emiliana Arango 6-4, 6-2 on Saturday evening and will play American Jessica Pegula, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 31 seed, beat Colombian qualifier Emiliana Arango 6-4, 6-2 to move into the third round of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Fernandez, ranked No 35, will face American Jessica Pegula, the No 5 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Miami tournament, Arango, ranked No 123, won against German Tatjana Maria (6-2, 6-3).
