Nina Stojanovic won against Tatjana Maria 6-4, 6-4 on Monday night. She’ll play the winner of the match between Australian Maya Joint and Canadian Marina Stakusic in the next round
Serb Nina Stojanovic moved into the second round of the Mérida Open by winning against German Tatjana Maria, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-4 at the Yucatan Country Club on Monday night.
The win is Stojanovic’s first at the Tour-level in almost three and a half years.
Nina Stojanovic will face the winner of the match between Australian Maya Joint and Canadian Marina Stakusic next.
