Ysaline Bonaventure beat Simona Waltert 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 on Monday evening and will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian qualifier Lesia Tsurenko and Czech Katerina Siniakova, the No 4 seed, in the next round
Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure won against Swiss wildcard Simona Waltert 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 to move into the second round of the Mérida Open at the Yucatan Country Club on Monday evening.
Bonaventure, ranked No 95, will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian qualifier Lesia Tsurenko and Czech Katerina Siniakova, the No 4 seed, next.
