Croat Lea Boskovic advanced to the last 16 of the Makarska Open by beating Ukrainian qualifier Valeriya Strakhova 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 on Wednesday.
Boskovic, ranked No 204, will face the winner of the match between No 5 seed Petra Martic and wildcard Petra Marcinko next.
