Czech qualifier Marketa Vondrousova reached the 64 of the Madrid Open by winning against Spanish wildcard Marina Bassols Ribera 6-1, 6-3 at the Caja Magica on Wednesday evening.
Former Roland-Garros runner-up Vondrousova, ranked No 80, will face No 17 seed Magda Linette next.
