Madrid Open: Second seed Sabalenka holds off Osorio to reach fourth round

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, advanced to the fourth round of the Madrid Open by beating Colombian wildcard Camila Osorio 6-4, 7-5 at the Caja Magica on Saturday.
Sabalenka, ranked No 2, will play the winner of the match between Russian wildcard Mirra Andreeva and Pole Magda Linette, the No 17 seed, next.
The Belarusian won against Romanian Sorana Cirstea (6-4, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Madrid tournament, Osorio, ranked No 115, won against French qualifier Clara Burel (6-3, 6-4) and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 32 seed (3-6, 6-4, 6-3).
