Madrid Open: Dolehide upsets Kalinina in round two
Caroline Dolehide defeated Anhelina Kalinina 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-3 on Friday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 6 seed, and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva in the next round

American Caroline Dolehide defeated Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 30 seed, 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the third round of the Madrid Open at the Caja Magica on Friday.
Dolehide, ranked No 56, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 6 seed, and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva next.
The American won against Chinese lucky loser Zhuoxuan Bai (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Madrid tournament.
