Emiliana Arango edged out Amanda Anisimova 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2) on Wednesday afternoon and will face No 31 seed Dayana Yastremska in the next round

Colombian qualifier Emiliana Arango reached the second round of the Madrid Open by edging out American wildcard Amanda Anisimova 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2) at the Caja Magica.
Arango, ranked No 121, will face No 31 seed Dayana Yastremska next.
