Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the second seed, won against Egyptian Mayar Sherif, the No 3 seed, 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the final of the LP Open by IND on Saturday.
Carle, ranked No 94, will face Serb Nina Stojanovic next.
The Argentinian defeated American Robin Anderson (6-2, 6-1), Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean (1-6, 6-1, 6-1) and Romanian lucky loser Georgia Andreea Craciun (6-3, 7-6 (3)) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Sherif, ranked No 100, won against Russian Alevtina Ibragimova (6-4, 6-1), Colombian Emiliana Arango (6-2, 6-3) and Portuguese Francisca Jorge (6-1, 6-4).
