Australian Daria Saville, the No 9 seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Les Championnats Banque Nationale de Granby by beating Canadian Katherine Sebov 6-1, 6-0 on Wednesday evening.
Saville, ranked No 73, will face the winner of the match between Canadian qualifier Cadence Brace and Chinese Xiyu Wang next.
The Australian won against Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round.
In the 32, Sebov, ranked No 307, won against Chinese Xinyu Wang (3-6, 6-4, 6-0).
