Serb qualifier Olga Danilovic moved into the final of the Lausanne Open by winning against Russian Anastasia Potapova 6-3, 6-2 at Tennis Club du Stade-Lausanne on Saturday.
Danilovic, ranked No 124, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 6 seed, and Croat Petra Martic next.
The 21-year-old Serb defeated Japanese Misaki Doi (6-3, 6-3), Russian Anna Kalinskaya (6-3, 3-6, 7-5) and Swiss wildcard Simona Waltert (6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (5)) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Potapova, ranked No 79, won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti (6-2, 3-6, 6-4), Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu, the No 3 seed (6-4, 6-2) and German Jule Niemeier (6-4, 6-2).
