Lausanne Open: Garcia reaches second round
Caroline Garcia beat Jasmine Paolini 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Leolia Jeanjean and German Tatjana Maria in the next round

Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 6 seed, moved into the second round of the Lausanne Open by winning against Italian Jasmine Paolini 6-3, 6-3 at Tennis Club du Stade-Lausanne on Tuesday afternoon.
Garcia, ranked No 48, will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Leolia Jeanjean and German Tatjana Maria next.
