Lausanne Open: Danilovic advances to quarter-finals

Serb qualifier Olga Danilovic reached the last eight of the Lausanne Open by edging out Russian Anna Kalinskaya 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 at Tennis Club du Stade-Lausanne on Thursday.
Danilovic, ranked No 124, will face Swiss wildcard Simona Waltert next.
In the previous round of the Lausanne, the 21-year-old Serb beat Japanese Misaki Doi (6-3, 6-3). Kalinskaya, ranked No 73, won against Slovenian Tamara Zidansek, the No 7 seed (7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-3).
