Alize Cornet, the No 7 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Ladies Open Lausanne by defeating Swiss Viktorija Golubic 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.
The Frenchwoman fought back from a set down against the home favourite to take the match and earn a deserved last16 spot.
Cornet, ranked No 70, will play Swiss Jil Teichmann next.
