Romanian Ana Bogdan, the No 3 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Ladies Open Lausanne by beating Slovenian qualifier Dalila Jakupovic 6-0, 5-7, 6-3 on Thursday.
Bogdan, ranked No 39, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Clara Burel and American Emma Navarro, the No 5 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Romanian won against Swiss Simona Waltert (2-6, 6-3, 6-3).
Jakupovic, ranked No 267, defeated Greek qualifier Valentini Grammatikopoulou (7-6 (11), 6-2) in the previous round.
