Fifth seed Rebeka Masarova beat Jessica Bouzas Maneiro 6-3, 6-2 to reach the last eight of the La Bisbal d’Emporda Open at the Club Esportiu CT La Bisbal in La Bisbal d’Emporda on Wednesday.
Masarova, ranked No 91, will face Slovak Rebecca Sramkova next.
Rebeka Masarova beat Frenchwoman Fiona Ferro (2-6, 6-1, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 104, won against German Anna-Lena Friedsam (6-4, 6-3).
