Thai Lanlana Tararudee reached the last 16 of the L & T Mumbai Open by winning against Indian wildcard Sahaja Yamalapalli 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 on Monday.
Tararudee, ranked No 175, will face the winner of the match between Australian qualifier Tina Nadine Smith and Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, the No 3 seed, next.
