American Jessica Pegula, the top seed, won against Belgian Yanina Wickmayer 6-4, 6-3 to reach the final of the Korea Open.
Pegula, ranked No 4, will face Chinese Yue Yuan next.
The American defeated Slovak Viktoria Hruncakova (6-2, 6-4), Ashlyn Krueger (6-3, 6-1) and Claire Liu (4-6, 6-3, 6-0) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Seoul tournament, Wickmayer, ranked No 83, beat qualifier En-Shuo Liang (6-3, 6-4), Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 3 seed (6-3, 7-6 (6)) and Russian Polina Kudermetova (6-3, 6-1).
