Kasatkina moves past injured Raducanu to reach Korea Open semi-finals
Top seed will face the winner of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk next
Russian Daria Kasatkina, the top seed, moved into the last four of the Korea Open when Emma Raducanu retired at the Olympic Park Tennis Center in Seoul on Saturday.
Kasatkina, ranked No 13, led 6-1 when Raducanu, ranked No 70, pulled out.
The Russian will play the winner of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 4 seed, and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 5 seed, next.
Daria Kasatkina beat American Hailey Baptiste (6-4, 6-2) in the previous round of the Seoul tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Seoul tournament, Emma Raducanu won against American Peyton Stearns (7-6 (4), 7-6 (5)) and Chinese Yue Yuan, the No 8 seed (6-4, 6-3).
