Japan Open: Wang beats Teichmann to reach last 16
The third seed will face Japanese qualifier Himeno Sakatsume in the next round

China’s Xinyu Wang, the No 3 seed, defeated Swiss Jil Teichmann 7-6 (3), 6-3 to advance to the last 16 of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships on Wednesday.
Wang, ranked No 39, will face Japanese qualifier Himeno Sakatsume next.
