Japan Open: Marino upsets seventh seed Hibino to reach second round
The Canadian will play American qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik in the next round
Canadian Rebecca Marino beat Japanese Nao Hibino, the No 7 seed, 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last 16 of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships on Tuesday.
Marino, ranked No 129 in the world, will face American qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik next.
