Jiangxi Open: Siegemund advances to second round

German Laura Siegemund reached the second round of the Jiangxi Open by beating Japanese Moyuka Uchijima, the No 3 seed, 7-5, 6-3 on Tuesday.

Siegemund, ranked No 101, will play German Tamara Korpatsch next.
