Jasmin Open: Top seed Paolini advances to quarter-finals
Jasmine Paolini won against Petra Marcinko 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 on Thursday and will play No 6 seed Lucia Bronzetti in the next round

Italian Jasmine Paolini, the top seed, won against Croat wildcard Petra Marcinko 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to move into the last eight of the Jasmin Open at the Skanes Family Hotel Monastir on Thursday.
Paolini, ranked No 30, will play No 6 seed Lucia Bronzetti next.
Ahead of her victory, the Italian defeated Frenchwoman Alize Cornet (6-4, 6-2).
Marcinko, ranked No 140, won against Spaniard Marina Bassols Ribera (7-6 (7), 6-2) in the previous round of the Monastir tournament.
