Jasmin Open: Marcinko overcomes Ribera to move into the second round

Croat wildcard Petra Marcinko moved into the second round of the Jasmin Open by defeating Spaniard Marina Bassols Ribera 7-6 (7), 6-2 at the Skanes Family Hotel Monastir.
Marcinko, ranked No 140, will face the winner of the match between Italian Jasmine Paolini, the top seed, and Frenchwoman Alize Cornet next.
