German Eva Lys defeated Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the second round of the Jasmin Open at the Skanes Family Hotel Monastir on Monday evening.
Lys, ranked No 126, will play the winner of the match between Belgian Elise Mertens, the top seed, and Russian Anastasia Zakharova next.
