Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 6 seed, won against Slovak Kristina Kucova 6-1, 6-1 to reach the second round of the Jasmin Open at the Skanes Family Hotel Monastir on Tuesday.
Bronzetti, ranked No 62, will play Italian Sara Errani next.
