Italian Open: Zheng makes last 16

Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 7 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Italian Open by winning against No 29 seed Linda Noskova 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 at the Foro Italico in Rome on Saturday afternoon.
Zheng, ranked No 7, will face Japanese Naomi Osaka next.
In the previous round of the Rome tournament, the 21-year-old Chinese beat American Shelby Rogers (6-2, 6-0).
Noskova, ranked No 29, won against Italian wildcard Lucrezia Stefanini (6-3, 7-6 (1)) during the 64 of the Rome tournament.
