The Slovak qualifier will play Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo or Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, the No 9 seed, in the next round
Slovak qualifier Rebecca Sramkova reached the last 16 of the Italian Open by edging out American Sofia Kenin 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 at the Foro Italico in Rome on Sunday.
