WTA Italian Open: Rybakina last player to make third round
Elena Rybakina defeated Jasmine Paolini 7-6 (4), 6-1 on Friday evening and will face Russian Anna Kalinskaya in the next round

Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 7 seed, won against Italian Jasmine Paolini 7-6 (4), 6-1 to advance to the third round of the Italian Open at the Foro Italico in Rome on Friday evening.
Rybakina, ranked No 6, will play Russian Anna Kalinskaya next.
Paolini, ranked No 65, defeated Chinese Xinyu Wang (6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-2) in the previous round of the Rome tournament.
