Elena-Gabriela Ruse won against Linda Fruhvirtova 6-1, 6-0 on Wednesday. She’ll play No 12 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia in the next round
Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse reached the second round of the Italian Open by winning against Czech Linda Fruhvirtova 6-1, 6-0 at the Foro Italico in Rome on Wednesday.
Ruse, ranked No 152, will face No 12 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia next.
