Italian Open: Grabher makes third round
Julia Grabher beat Jil Teichmann 7-6 (4), 5-7, 6-3 on Friday. She’ll play the winner of the match between Italian wildcard Lisa Pigato and Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 8 seed, in the next round

Austrian Julia Grabher won against Swiss Jil Teichmann, the No 26 seed, 7-6 (4), 5-7, 6-3 to advance to the third round of the Italian Open at the Foro Italico in Rome on Friday.
Grabher, ranked No 89, will face the winner of the match between Italian wildcard Lisa Pigato and Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 8 seed, next.
The Austrian beat Italian wildcard Nuria Brancaccio (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) ahead of her victory against Teichmann.
