Italian Open: Badosa beats Mirra Andreeva in round one
Paula Badosa defeated Mirra Andreeva 6-2, 6-3 on Tuesday. She’ll play No 21 seed Emma Navarro in the next round

Spaniard Paula Badosa recorded one of her best wins of the year by ranking when she beat world No37 Mirra Andreeva of Russia 6-2, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Italian Open at the Foro Italico in Roma on Tuesday.
Badosa, a former world No 2 now ranked No 126 after injury problems, will play No 21 seed Emma Navarro next.
