Italian Open: Badosa downs Navarro to reach third round

Spaniard Paula Badosa moved into the third round of the Italian Open by winning against American Emma Navarro, the No 21 seed, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 at the Foro Italico in Rome on Thursday evening.
Badosa, ranked No 126, will play Diana Shnaider next.
The Spaniard defeated Russian Mirra Andreeva (6-2, 6-3) in the previous round of the Rome tournament.
