Argentinian lucky loser Nadia Podoroska moved into the second round of the Indian Wells by beating American wildcard Ashlyn Krueger 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Thursday evening.
Podoroska, ranked No 84, will face No 4 seed Elena Rybakina next.
