Indian Wells WTA 1000: Shnaider moves into third round

Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 13 seed, beat American wildcard Alycia Parks 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the third round of the Indian Wells WTA 1000 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Saturday.

Shnaider, ranked No 13, will face Swiss wildcard Belinda Bencic next.

Parks, ranked No 61, won against Russian Anna Kalinskaya (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Indian Wells tournament.
