Indian Wells WTA 1000: Kasatkina advances to third round
Daria Kasatkina edged out Sofia Kenin 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 on Saturday. She’ll face the winner of the match between Catherine McNally and Liudmila Samsonova next

Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 12 seed, edged out American Sofia Kenin 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 to move into the third round of the Indian Wells WTA 1000 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Saturday.
Kasatkina, ranked No 12, will play the winner of the match between American Catherine McNally and Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 24 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Indian Wells tournament, Kenin, ranked No 47, beat Australian qualifier Maddison Inglis (6-2, 6-1).
