Indian Wells WTA 1000: Bencic through to third round
Belinda Bencic won against Amanda Anisimova 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-1 on Saturday and will face the winner of the match between Alycia Parks and Diana Shnaider next

Swiss wildcard Belinda Bencic won against American Amanda Anisimova, the No 17 seed, 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-1 to move into the third round of the Indian Wells WTA 1000 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Saturday.
Bencic, ranked No 58, will play the winner of the match between American wildcard Alycia Parks and Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 13 seed, next.
The Swiss defeated German Tatjana Maria (6-1, 6-1) in the previous round of the Indian Wells tournament.
