Indian Wells: Badosa sets up Rybakina clash in third round
The Spaniard defeated countrywoman Nuria Parrizas Diaz 6-2, 7-5 in the second round

No 21 seed Paula Badosa advanced to the third round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells by defeating fellow Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz 6-2, 7-5 on Saturday.
Badosa, a former world No 2 who is now ranked No 22 in the world, will play Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, the No 10 seed, next.
Badosa holds a 4-1 edge over Rybakina in head-to-head, including wins in their last three encounters.
In the previous round of the Indian Wells tournament, Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 88, won against Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto (6-3, 7-5).
